Work Starts On New Cycle Path In Magherafelt

Work has started on a new cycle path scheme at Castledawson Road, Magherafelt.

Up to 480 metres of combined footway/cycleway will be constructed as part of the £75,000 scheme which is expected to last for four weeks.

Mr Kennedy said: "This is a very welcome scheme particularly as it addresses the missing link between Pound Road at Magherafelt town boundary and the excellent facility provided at Aghagaskin Road last year."
