Resurfacing Scheme Begins On Quarry Lane

Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy has announced the start of a £105,000 major resurfacing scheme for Quarry Lane, Dungannon, Co Tyrone.

The resurfacing will extend from the junction with Ardgannon to the mini roundabout at the junction with Donaghmore Road.

The Minister said: "This scheme will result in an improved running surface and removal of water ponding on the road and footpaths."

To help minimise inconvenience to the travelling public and local businesses, the majority of this work will be completed without a road closure. The road will be closed however between 8am and 8pm on Saturday 8 March 2014 to allow final surfacing. During the closure traffic will be diverted via Donaghmore Road, Greers Road and Thomas Street.
