Transport Minister Danny Kennedy has announced two resurfacing schemes for the Kells area with a total investment of £230,000.
The two schemes on the B98 Greenfield Road and the C48 Woodgreen Road will provide 2.6km of new asphalt surfaces.
The works are due to begin on Greenfield Road on Thursday 20 March and work on Woodgreen Road will start on Tuesday 1 April. Both schemes will take two weeks each to complete.
The Minister said: "These schemes will improve the condition of these key links from the trunk network to the village of Kells."
To protect the safety of the travelling public and contractors during these surfacing schemes it will be necessary to close the roads.
