• Suncroft, Tallaght (10)

The projects will be funded from the National Lottery Licence transaction.

The plans and particulars of the proposals had earlier been submitted to the Department of Environment Community and Local Government as part of the Department's local authority home building initiative designed to yield positive outcomes in terms of addressing housing need, and in generating economic activity and supporting jobs in the labour intensive construction & materials supply area.

In welcoming Minister O'Sullivan's announcement Director of Services for Housing, Social and Community Development Billy Coman stated that draft proposals for these three schemes were initially outlined to the Council in mid 2013, and was very pleased that Minister O'Sullivan and the Council have been fully supportive of the initiatives.
