Transport Minister Danny Kennedy has announced a £100,000 road resurfacing scheme on the Loughgall Road in Portadown between Brownstown Road and Baltylum Meadows
Work will take please in two phases in order to minimise disruption to the public. Work will be carried out during the weekends of Saturday / Sunday 22/23 and 29/30 March. During these times Loughgall Road will be closed to through traffic between Brownstown Road and Baltylum Meadows.
Minister Kennedy said: "This scheme will strengthen and greatly improve the surface quality of the carriageway and is a significant investment in the area."
Whilst the road closure is operational traffic will be diverted via Charles Street, Moy Road, Richmount Road, Coharra Road and Loughgall Road. These roads will be clearly signed for the assistance of the public.
