Wall Welcomes Initial Report Regarding The Eirgrid Projects

Labour TD, Jack Wall, has welcomed the Independent Expert Panel's initial report in relation to the Eirgrid projects.

Mr Wall said: "The detail announced today is very welcome in relation to the concerns that so many communities around the country have about these projects.

"I note in particular the news that the expert body has within its remit its own right to instigate reviews or reports, if there are any deficiencies in the studies or reports presented by Eirgrid.

"We now await the next stage of this process."
