Transport Minister Danny Kennedy has announced the start of a £110,000 major resurfacing and footway reconstruction scheme in Coleraine.
The investment will also improve the pedestrian crossing facility on A2 Circular Road in the town.
Work is expected to commence on 2 June between the Bann Bridge and the junction with Union Street. It will last for approximately four weeks.
Due to the work being undertaken, certain aspects will be carried out using lane closures and evening work, while road closures for the final resurfacing stage will be in place overnight from 22 – 25 June. A signed diversion route, via the Ring Road, will be in operation.
It is expected that the works will be substantially completed by 25 June.
Minister Kennedy said: "The scheme will benefit road users on this important urban route for many years to come by providing an improved surface through the use high quality surfacing materials."
