EirGrid has tannounced the appointment of Rosemary Steen to the position of Director Public Affairs.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, Rosemary will lead a new Public Affairs Directorate which will be responsible for the formulation and direction of the organisation’s communications strategy with respect to all external stakeholders.

Rosemary has considerable experience in Public Affairs and previously worked for a number of international companies at a senior level including Vodafone Ireland and Shell Ireland. She started her career in Lafferty Publications and then joined IBEC.

The appointment will be effective in July and follows an extensive and competitive recruitment process.
