Resurfacing Scheme Begins In Rasharkin

Work has started today (1 July) on a resurfacing scheme in Rasharkin.

The £85,000 project will run from the U148 Tarnlaght Road North for approximately 1km.

Transport Minister Danny Kennedy said: "This scheme will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the carriageway on part of this important road between Rasharkin and Portglenone."

The scheme is expected to be substantially completed on 8 July.
