Building Work Begins On £4m School Development

Building has commenced on a new £4m development for Bunscoil Bheann Mhadagáin in North Belfast.

The new school will provide much-needed and modern facilities for pupils and staff.

Education Minister, John O'Dowd, cut the first sod at the development site today. He said: "The start of construction represents an investment of over £2million by my Department and £1.7million by Belfast City Council. I have no doubt the new facilities will positively impact on both staff and pupils by delivering a modern, progressive learning environment."
