Smith Property Management has signed an €175,000 electricity contract with Energia.

The electricity deal covers 12,000 residential and commercial customers across Dublin City, County & surrounding areas.

Paul Murray, Managing Director of Smith Property Management, said: "We recently undertook a rigorous analysis of business energy suppliers to ensure we're getting the best value for money for our Owners' Management Companies (OMC's).

"In addition to the rates agreed for common area supply the agreement will also ensure that our customers and staff can avail of a 17% dual fuel discount on their personal energy bills.

"The results clearly marked Energia out as the best value electricity supplier. That is why Energia now have the opportunity to power the 12,000 residential and commercial customers we manage throughout Ireland."
