Dublin Based Firm Appoints Chief Operating Officer

Dublin based wind and solar power developer Mainstream Renewable Power has appointed Andy Kinsella as Chief Operating Officer.

Andy joined Mainstream as an Executive Director on the formation of the company in 2008 and is also a member of the company's Board of Directors.

Andy has been Chief Executive Officer for Mainstream's offshore business with responsibility for bringing forward just under 8,000 megawatts of offshore wind projects in England, Scotland and Germany for which it has secured 4,450 megawatts of grid connections for these offshore projects.

Andy has been involved in the global electricity sector since the mid 1980's. He is also an Electrical Engineer and a graduate of Harvard Business School.
