Energy provider Energia has launched a Summer Savings offer which could save the average household €325 every year.

The offer also guarantees savings of up to 18% of their gas and electricity standard rates.

Geoff Codd, Head of Marketing, Energia said: "When we entered the home energy market in January, we made a commitment to always be competitive on price. We are very encouraged by the reaction we have been receiving from Irish households.
