Essential maintenance work is to be carried out at The Cutts Recycling Centre, Derriaghy.
The work is due to begin on Wednesday 27 August until Saturday 20 September.
Lisburn City Councillor Jenny Palmer, Chairman of the Council's Environmental Services Committee, speaking about the schedules works, said: "Throughout the Council area thousands of residents are ‘committed recyclers’ and use both the recycling bins provided at their homes and the Council’s Recycling Centres. During the essential maintenance at The Cutts there will be limited disposal and recycling facilities available, however, Drumlough Recycling Centre on the Dromara Road in Hillsborough will be open as normal.
"It is expected that during this essential maintenance The Cutts may not be able to take wood/timber, small electrical items and scrap metal."
