Developers Urged To Attend Consultation Event In Templepatrick

A consultation event is to be held on proposals for developers contributions.

The proposals would require developers to provide a proportion of newly proposed housing developments, over a certain threshold, as affordable housing. The consultation runs until 23rd September 2014.

The consultation event will take place on Wednesday 10 September 2014 from 9.30am-12 noon at the Templeton Hotel, Templepatrick.

Advance registration for the event is required.

Environment Minister Mark H Durkan said: "I would encourage anyone interested in affordable housing, whether from the perspective of developers, planners, housing professionals or charitable bodies to consider attending this event. It is important that as many people as possible tell us what they think. This event will be a useful way for all views to be heard."
