The Caw/Nelson Drive estate in L'Derry has had an environmental makeover.
The Northern Ireland Housing Executive's (NIHE) maintenance team, district office staff and members of Caw/Nelson Drive Action Group joined forces to transform the estate.
Work on the estate has included new entrance beds, the rejuvenation of woodland areas and community gardens at a cost of £9000. Plans are also ongoing for the creation of a community growing space on the estate.
Stephen Proctor, Grounds Maintenance officer said: "These projects contribute to the personal and community well-being of residents in Caw/Nelson Drive and we are delighted to have been involved.
"Environmental projects ensure residents see positive changes in estates and it help to foster a sense of social inclusion and community cohesion, upholding the ideals of sustainability and biodiversity in today’s world."
