The road lighting scheme in the Markethill area has been extended.
The £45,000 capital scheme will extend the existing lighting at the A28 Gosford Road junction with Main Street Markethill to also cover the junction of Gosford Road and the B78 Mullaghbrack Road.
Transport Minister Danny Kennedy said: "I am very pleased to announce this capital scheme which will involve the installation of 21 street lights at a cost of £45,000. It will help address the concerns of the local community in relation to the lack of lighting at this key junction.
"Up to now, motorists travelling towards Armagh on the trunk road had to leave a lighted stretch of road immediately before another main unlit junction."
