Construction jobs are to be created following planning approval for a new community building in Dungannon, Northern Ireland.
The new building, totalling 2,140 sq mts over three floors will allow South Tyrone Empowerment Programme (STEP) to further its aims by providing community facilities in the form of a shared community building, providing for delivery of key STEP community consortium services free at the point of delivery.
Environment Minister Mark H Durkan said: "This is a boost for STEP and Dungannon, as the development will benefit the town for many years by providing vital services. Much improved facilities for STEP’s services will also mean regeneration in Dungannon. Much needed employment will be created during the construction phase."
