Council Rejects Moore Street Deal

Dublin City Council has rejected a proposed land swap deal which would have seen most of Moore Street demolished.

Sinn Féin is now calling for a full independent battlefield site survey to be carried out.

Dublin City Councillor Mícheál Mac Donncha said: "It is also essential that Minister Heather Humphreys brings together all concerned to come up with a new plan to protect, preserve and develop this historic quarter of our city."
