South Dublin County Council (SDCC) has announced ESB has started works along the Grand Canal Way-Green Route.

The works will be from Davitt Road to 12th Lock, Lucan –Newcastle Road.

There will be a temporary closure of parts of the Route for a period of time to facilitate the works.

ESB have been requested that notices be placed at all access points along the Route detailing the period of closure and indicating alternative routes available.

Further works will be required at a later date up to approximately 30th April, 2015 to fully complete the project which may require an element of closure.
