Sewerage Infrastructure In Holywood And Kinnegar To Be Improved

£4.5 million is to be invested to improve the sewerage infrastructure in the Holywood/Kinnegar area in Northern Ireland.

The NI Water project involves a programme of sewer laying, tunnelling work and the construction of a pumping station in the Holywood/Kinnegar area. The majority of the work will take place in the vicinity of Kinnegar Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTW) with construction of one of the main sewers across the A2 Belfast / Bangor Road, being done by tunnelling to mitigate traffic disruption.

An information session on this project will take place on Thursday 11th December from 4-7pm in Holywood Baptist Church, 67 Belfast Road, Holywood, BT18 9ES.
