Realignment Work On N71 Approved

Work to realign the N71 between Kenmare and Glengarrif has been approved by the Minister for Transport, Paul Donohoe.

The work is to on the N71 at Releagh is due to begin in January 2015.

The 1.6km stretch will be widened and resurfaced making the route safer and improving travel times.

The work is expected to be complete by 2016.
