Plans For New Senior Citizen Housing In Cabra Welcomed

Proposals for new senior citizen homes in Dunmanus Housing Complex, Cabra, have been welcomed.

Sinn Féin Cllr McGrattan has asked that local labour from the Cabra area is used in the building of the development.

Dublin Central TD Mary Lou McDonald also welcomed the announcement. She said: "I would like to see a solid commitment from the developers that they will use a social clause which will utilise a local work force throughout the construction of this site and beyond. Cabra can provide many skilled tradespeople and the young apprentices needed to be part of the development."
