International Conference On Fracking To Be Held In Fermanagh

An international conference on fracking is to take place in Fermanagh on 20 February.

A panel of international speakers, who have successfully campaigned against fracking, will also be attending the event at the Lough Erne Resort.

Sinn Féin MEP Martina Anderson is urging people to register for the conference.

Ms Anderson said: "Fracking has already been banned in several countries. Sinn Féin has made it consistently clear that fracking should not be allowed anywhere in Ireland, north or south.

"We will also have a live video link with the United States to hear about the American experience of fracking."
