Over £200,000 funding has been secured to refurbish Ballymac Friendship Centre in east Belfast.
The £202,000 investment will include the replacement of windows and doors, internal finishes, kitchen replacements and minor roof repairs needed to stop ongoing leaks.
Department for Social Development Minister Mervyn Storey said: "The staff of the Ballymac Friendship Trust are to be commended for their dedication and commitment in continuing to work in an environment that has been in much need of repair. They have worked tirelessly in raising self-esteem and changing attitudes and behaviours throughout this community."
