A £1 million high-end caravan and camping facility is to be established at Glenariff Forest Park in Northern Ireland.
The new facility, which will include provision for nine 'glamping' pods and the capacity for 36 caravans and campervans, will be open to campers this autumn.
Agriculture Minister Michelle O'Neill said: "There is considerable interest across the north of Ireland in camping and caravan breaks so this very exciting project at Glenariff will certainly add a bit of glamour to the experience.
"It also helps provide welcome support for forest-based tourism and builds on the partnership developed between the Forest Service and Moyle District Council. We now look forward to cementing the relationship between my department and the new Causeway Coast and Glens District Council."
"This innovative project will capture real-time images of the forest eco-system and make it accessible to all visitors by relaying it to the visitor hub buildings and may also be accessed via the internet."
