225 construction jobs are expected to be created during the expansion of the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin.
450 full and part-time jobs in the retail sector have also been announced as soon as the expansion has been completed.
Minister for Business and Employment, Ged Nash TD, welcomed the announcement and said it is further proof of economic recovery in the country.
Minister Nash said: "The Retail sector was particularly badly hit during the downturn, with over 50,000 jobs lost in Wholesale and Retail between 2008 and 2012. However, we have seen consistent signs of recovery in the sector over the last 12 months."
