Castle Basin Area In Enniskillen To Be Transformed

A £1.9m project to transform the Castle Basin area in Enniskillen has been launched.

The scheme will provide an extensive riverside walkway, an events area and a new Castle Promenade along the River Erne's shoreline.

The Enniskillen Castle Basin project involves a significant upgrade to the pathway along the shoreline between Enniskillen Castle and the Erne Shopping Centre and provides for important linkages to leisure, tourist and visitor facilities in the town.

The work is due to be complete in June 2015.
