Transport NI Begins Work On £260,000 Improvement Scheme

Transport NI has begun work on a £260,000 improvement project in Antrim.

The work, on the B59 Doagh Road at Parkgate, is expected to be completed at the end of March.

Transport Minister Danny Kennedy said: "The improvements will result in the overall strengthening of the road and road users will quickly realise the benefits of the new carriageway surface."

The Doagh Road will be closed to traffic from Wednesday 4 March to Friday 27 March. During the closure, traffic will be diverted through Parkgate, Connor and Kells.
