£2 million funding has been secured for the development of additional Park & Ride facilities in Northern Ireland.
The facilities include over 200 additional Park & Ride spaces in Cullybackey, Whiteabbey and Ballymoney.
Transport Minister Danny Kennedy said: "There is a growing demand for Park and Ride facilities as an increasing number of people choose public transport for their daily commute to work and for leisure purposes.
"The popularity of public transport reflects the success brought about by my Department’s investment in our bus and train services over recent years and it demonstrates my ongoing commitment to encourage sustainable travel."
