Up to 400 homeless families are to be housed in Dublin flats, previously marked for demolition.
Dublin City Council (DCC) has announced a plan to refurbish O'Devany Gardens in north Dublin, following approval of €4.72 million in government funding.
DCC said that following the refurbishment work, priority for housing will be given to those currently in emergency hotel accommodation.
It is understood that there are currently tenants still living in the flats, and they will be allowed to move to newly refurbished units as they become available.
