The new 2015 Eurovent energy efficiency classification, which came into effect January 1 this year, places much higher demands on the energy use of air filters.
Camfil is one of the first companies in Europe to develop an energy-efficient air filter rated A+, the highest rating according to the new energy efficiency classification by Eurovent.
Opakfil ES cannot only be used in new construction projects, it can also be retro-fitted in all existing ventilation systems. If all F7, F8 and F9 filters in Europe were to be replaced by the new Opakfil ES A+ filter from Camfil, it would mean substantial energy savings.
Choosing a high-ranked filter like Opakfil ES (with ES standing for Energy Saver) can save building owners up to 20% more energy over the year per filter. Using the right air filter will not only help save more energy, it will also contribute to saving money, and secure a healthy indoor air quality.
Maintaining a healthy indoor environment is good for staff or the building inhabitants. Clean air results in less sick days, and increased productivity and well-being.
