Electric firm ESB Networks has issued a safety warning over the dangers of hanging bunting and flags to electricity poles.
In a statement, ESB said: "Electricity poles and pylons carry live conductors which are positioned overhead to be out of harm's way. It is important to keep well away as coming close puts you at serious risk of injury.
"Remember, electricity can jump gaps. As well as the risk to the people involved, others are also put at risk when the bunting unravels. We again remind the public to never attach bunting or flags to ESB poles. It puts lives at risk."
