Over €570,000 funding has been secured to replace the roof of a college in Dublin.
Education Minister Jan O'Sullivan confirmed the €572,000 funding for Coolmine Community College is being provided under the Emergency Works Scheme.
Leader of the Labour Party, Joan Burton, said the main purpose of the Emergency Works Scheme is to ensure the availability of funding for urgent works to those schools that are most in need of resources.
She concluded: "This is in line with our programme of significant investment in schools, to replace prefabs and upgrade buildings, and ensure students can focus on learning, and not on dripping ceilings or creaking plumbing."
