13.6 Megawatt Farm To Be Developed In Ireland

Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd, an Israeli clean-power developer, has announced a €24 million deal to develop a 13.6 megawatt wind farm in Ireland.

The wind farm is expected to be completed by the end of 2016.

"Ireland's target of electricity production from renewables by 2020 is 40 percent, with market potential equal to 4,000 megawatts, compared with 2,000 megawatts today," Maya Shaltiel, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Maya International Strategic Alliances Ltd., said.
