The Department for Regional Development (DRD) Cycling Unit is to host a public information event to discuss the proposed routes on Friday 21 August at the Belfast City Hall.
Details of the proposed routes will be on display and staff will be attending to discuss the project and answer questions about the designs.
The routes include stretches from the Westlink at Grosvenor Road through to Castle Junction and from Castle Junction to Titanic Quarter Station, linking to the Comber Greenway.
The schemes are still at an early stage of development and once the designs have been finalised, a formal consultation will be carried out.
Minister Danny Kennedy said: "My Department is working concurrently on a draft Bicycle Network Plan for Belfast which will be open to public consultation later in the year."
