The public is being called to visit Meath heritage sites this week during National Heritage Week.
Fine Gael Meath West TD, Ray Butler, also confirmed all OPW sites are free to enter on Sunday, 30 August.
Mr Butler said: "It is a really great initiative and I encourage people to get out and experience the many wonderful heritage sites we have in Meath. All OPW sites will be free to visit this coming Sunday, the final day of the initiative.
"All of the projects who received funding for National Heritage Week had to have a community benefit and host an event this week.
"It is really great to see so many events in Meath including: the Hill of Slane Tours; Medieval Trim tours; a nature talk in Navan Education Centre; a talk in Navan Library about World War 1; a discussion in St. Columba's Church on the monuments of Kells; a moonlight walk of Kells' monastic walls; trips along the Boyne and much more."
