Distillery To Be Developed In Drogheda

A new whiskey distillery and visitor centre is to be developed in Drogheda.

The €20m facility in the heart of Boyne Valley will include a whiskey distillery, Boyne Brewhouse craft brewery and taproom, an architecturally designed visitor centre which will host distillery and brewery tours, a 120-seater restaurant, whiskey bar, private event space and a gift shop.

The project, which is expected to open in 2016, is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through Enterprise Ireland.
