Two community groups in Fermanagh have secured funding for the Department of Environment's (DOE) Challenge Fund.
The funding has been allocated to Lough Erne Wildfowlers Council and Devenish Partnership Forum.
Lough Erne Wildfowlers Council's project will see a breeding wader project on Boa Island, while the Devenish Partnership Forum in Enniskillen will create a wild flower area and expand an allotment site.
Environment Minister Mark H Durkan said: "It is tremendous to see people in Fermanagh coming together to produce innovative schemes to enhance their local environment. I commend the many volunteers for it.
"Recently I announced that 33 community groups across the North were successful in attaining Challenge Funding for their projects. Four groups in Fermanagh have been successful."
