NIHE Appoints New Chief Executive

The Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) has appointed Clark Bailie as its new Chief Executive.

Mr Bailie joined the NIHE as Director of Finance in December 2007. He has spent the majority of his career in public sector finance, including 14 years as Director of Finance in the United Hospitals Trust, Chief Internal Auditor for the Northern Health and Social Services Board and Accountant in the States' Treasury, Jersey.

Donald Hoodless, NIHE Chairman, said: "I am delighted to announce the appointment of our new Chief Executive, Clark Bailie. Clark has a wealth of experience in the public sector and throughout his time with the Housing Executive he has demonstrated the professionalism, commitment and expertise that is necessary for the post of Chief Executive."
