Irish energy firm ESB has announced it is to recruit 55 graduates from Irish third level institutions.
The three year programme includes graduates from engineering, IT, marketing and finance.
The Graduate Programme forms part of an ambitious drive by ESB to recruit the brightest talent from Irish third level institutions.
they will be placed across ESB’s five business units – ESB International, ESB Networks, Generation and Wholesale Markets, Business Services Centre and Electric Ireland.
The graduates hail from a cross section of Ireland’s universities and Institutes of Technology.
Pat O'Doherty, ESB Chief Executive, welcoming the graduates to Head Office in Dublin, said: "The energy sector is undergoing a major transition which will require the brightest minds. ESB is committed to offering a rewarding and dynamic career path for exceptional people interested in addressing global energy challenges and shaping the future of Ireland's energy system. These 55 new graduates will be given hands-on roles from the outset across our business units as ESB seeks to remain at the forefront of energy innovation."
