Contractor Esmonde Developments has handed over the keys of the new Primary Health Care Centre in Co Wicklow.

The Wicklow Primary Healthcare Centre has been equipped at a cost of €274,757 and provides a wide range of health services to patients in Wicklow town, Rathnew and Ashford area including three GP Practices, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Primary Care Psychologists, Ophthalmologist and Primary Care Social Worker.

The Mental Health Team members provide access to Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Community Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Mental Health Social Workers. In the coming weeks, the Ambulance Service and Tusla are expected to move in, along with a private physiotherapist. The centre also has a coffee shop and pharmacy on site, further enhancing the services available to all visitors at the centre.
