Work has started to improve the footway at the railway bridge on Island Road Lower in Ballycarry.
The £120,000 footway project is expected to be complete by 18 December.
The improvements will provide a link the existing footways on both sides of the bridge and giving uninterrupted pedestrian access on Island Road Lower to the station from both Ballycarry and Ballystrudder.
Traffic will be diverted via the A2 Larne Road, B150 Slaughterford Road, Islandmagee Road and Ballystrudder Road. The diversion will be fully signed.
