Tender Process Begins To Build Carlow Housing Estate

The tender process to develop a new 25 unit housing estate in Bagnelstown, Co Carlow, has gone out today, 02 November.

The process is expected to take approximately two months and it is hoped construction will begin in January next year.

Fine Gael Carlow/Kilkenny TD, Pat Deering, welcomed the news.

He said: "This is in addition to another project which will see Carlow County Council develop 18 plus units in Bagnelstown.

"Between the two projects, they will eliminate 60% of Bagnelstown's housing waiting list, which is welcome news for all those who have been waiting for too long for a home."
