IFA Called To Explain Actions Taken Following Safety Concerns At Windsor Stadium

The Irish Football Association has been called to explain what actions have been taken to ensure the Windsor Park stadium is fit-for-use.

Sinn Féin MLA Cathal Ó hOisín made the call following safety concerns over a complaint by Cliftonville FC after the match on Saturday.


Mr Ó hOisín said: "The safety of staff and supporters are paramount and while I appreciate major works are currently in progress it is crucial that safety standards are not compromised during this period.

"The IFA have a responsibility to review safety standards at the stadium and I look forward to hearing from them what actions have been taken to restore confidence that the stadium is fit for use."
