Sinn Féin is urging the public to show their support in the next Right2Water protest.
The protest will be held in Fairgreen, Dundalk at 2pm on Saturday, 23 January.
Leader Gerry Adams said our water supply must be kept in public ownership.
Mr Adams said: "Water is a human right and while water services must be paid for, this must not be done through a double tax on hard pressed citizens. The water charges, - the brainchild of Fianna Fáil - coupled with other taxes and charges imposed by Fine Gael and the Labour Party, are crippling households and families.
"From the outset, Irish Water has been mired in scandal. It is a toxic entity, which has become synonymous with everything that is wrong with this Government, namely, cronyism, political manipulation of State boards, threats to citizens and escalating taxes on struggling families. For these reasons, the organisation cannot be left with responsibility for the delivery of water services in this State."
