Over £620,000 is to be invested to raise roads in Co Fermnagh to prevent flooding.
Many people in Fermangh have been forced to make diversions of up to 50 miles because roads were closed due to severe flooding
Sinn Féin MLA Sean Lynch welcomed the investment.
Mr Lynch said: "In particular, I welcome the fact that the road between Derrylin and Lisnaskea will be raised as the closure of this road created traffic chaos for several weeks during the recent flooding.
"The Wattlebridge Road in Newtownbutler and the Inishmore Road in Maguiresbridge will also be raised."
