Work To Start On Road Improvement Scheme In Lisburn

A £460,000 road improvement project is Lisburn is to start next week.

Work will start on the Hillhall Road scheme, at the junction with Glen Road, on Monday, 15 February.

Transport Minister Michelle McIlveen said: "I am very pleased to announce the start of this major improvement scheme, which will greatly reduce the severity of this corner and help to improve road safety.

"This investment will also improve the sightlines and stopping sight distance on what is a heavily used road, improving road safety for both motorists and local residents."

Some lane restrictions will be put in place and motorists should allow extra time for journeys.
