Construction work on a play park at a primary school in Co Armagh is now complete.
The new park, at St Patrick's Primary School in Crossmaglen, provides a play area for children attending the school and the housing estates in the area.
The £82,000 facility was part funded by the Department for Social Development (DSD) through the Areas at Risk Programme.
The project also received funding of £15,000 from the former Newry and Mourne District Council, £15,000 from the Friends of St Patrick's Primary School, £10,000 from Awards for All and £2,450 from the Extended Schools Programme.
Chairman of Newry, Mourne and Down Council, Michael Ruane said: "I welcome this project which provides much needed play facilities for the children of this area. It is another example of DSD, in partnership with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, helping to improve the quality of life for all residents of the area."
Elsewhere, a £54,000 project to upgrade St Oliver Plunkett Youth Club in Crossmaglen has also been completed.
The project was also funded from the DSD's Areas at Risk Programme.
It involved the upgrade of the entrance lobby and the refurbishment of a youth room together with the provision of a new range of equipment including computers.
