Work has started on a £230,000 road resurfacing project in Crossgar, Co Down.
The project starts from a point 150 metres south of the Glasswater Road junction to a point 400 metres south of the B6 Manse Road junction.
To facilitate the resurfacing work, the Derryboye Road will be closed from Monday to Saturday between 9am and 4pm ending Saturday, 19 March 2016.
Transport Minister Michelle McIlveen said: "This £230,000 scheme represents a significant investment in the roads infrastructure in the Crossgar area. Once work is complete, road users will quickly realise the long term benefits from the new road surface along the stretch."
Traffic will be diverted via B7 Killyleagh Road / Ballytrim Road / Crossgar Road and B6 Clea Lough Road.
